Marina Kosoy is a licensed CPA with a Master’s Degree in Finance from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baruch College. She has worked for over 15 years in public accounting, specializing in business and individual tax preparation as well as nonprofit auditing. Her area of expertise is providing tax solutions to small, closely-held businesses as well as medium size businesses. This includes financial reporting, income tax preparation, consulting and planning. Marina’s hands-on approach has contributed to the success of her clients. Prior to public accounting, Marina worked for 10 years in the private sector as a Financial Analyst for industries including global banking, media, and publishing. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Marina grew up in New York City and moved to Marlboro New Jersey in the year 2000 where she opened the New Jersey office location. Marina is an active member of her community and has served as treasurer for several local organizations.
With more than 36 years of professional tax experience, Sem Kosoy represents a wide range of industries including retail and wholesale distribution, construction, and healthcare entities,. He has worked with clients doing business across the United States as well as multiple foreign countries. Sem is a community leader and an active member of the National Society of Accountants. He has appeared on local radio and television programs to share his expertise and discuss various tax topics. After many years in Mid-town Manhattan, the firm’s main office with four full-time staff members was relocated to Brooklyn, New York in year 2012. Sem currently oversees activities of the office located in Brooklyn and runs all the day to day operations.
